- Description
- Ceremonial grade Uji matcha from Kyoto, Japan, made from first spring harvest Yabukita-cultivar tea leaves. The shade-grown tencha is stone-milled into a fine, brilliant green powder with a smooth, naturally sweet flavor and very low bitterness — a vibrant everyday ceremonial matcha that performs equally well as traditional usucha and in matcha lattes. Origin Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan — one of Japan's most respected matcha regions. Cultivar Yabukita, Japan's most widely grown tea cultivar, valued for its smooth, well-rounded, dependable character. Harvest First spring harvest (ichibancha), picked at peak quality. Cultivation Shade-grown tencha, raising chlorophyll and amino acid content for a brilliant green color and smooth taste. Grade Ceremonial grade — whisk on its own as usucha or prepare as a premium matcha latte. Production Blended and stone-milled in Uji, Kyoto, into a fine, even powder. Taste profile Smooth and naturally sweet, with gentle umami, a clean finish, and very low bitterness. Preparation Whisk 1–2 g with hot (not boiling) water for usucha, or with milk or oat milk for a latte. Packaging Packed fresh in a resealable 100 g zip bag; keep sealed in a cool, dark place and refrigerate after opening.
